Presenting at NBER Summer Institute 2026

The takeaway from my presentation at NBER is that AI is changing the composition of capital required for scientific discovery. Rather than simply reducing costs, projects incorporating AI also reallocate investment away from operational inputs and toward human capital while pursuing more novel combinations of knowledge.
